This is done by folding the ribbon in the middle lengthwise, at the ends only, making the selvages come together. ... It is then adjusted so that the fold of the ribbon at the ends will come half across the fishtail, and when this is done the whole three thicknesses are doubled over and creased all together, right ... Three centers are used, in the same manner as described in making the center of the triple bow.
