UNI-LCJ
campaigned for donation to setup
a Communicators Center and assist
union members in Mongolia. UNITES
with the help from LIONS Club International
District 324D6 collected P4 computers
from corporates, refurbished and
shipped them to the Communicators
center at Ulan Bataar. UNITES and
UNI-LCJ feel that solidarity projects
and events like this will bring
about unity and understanding among
unions and its members across different
countries and regions. |

In
this information age where employers
are tech-savvy, unions definitely
need to be at par and enable their
members with IT skills & infrastructure.
This would certainly prepare them
to face anti-employee nature of
globalisation and spread the message
of solidarity among workers all
over the world. |

UNITES,
the only Union for IT / ITES professionals
in India is determined to work towards
this cause. UNITES not only IT enables
unions in India, but also unions
in other countries and regions. |
