UNI is a Global Union Federation of professionals in skills and services across the world. It has about 900 affiliated organizations in 140 countries, representing more than 15 million members. Many of the affiliated organizations are directly involved in creating the new knowledge economy.

UNITES is supported by UNI Apro which shares many common aspirations of our membership that is confronted by numerous common challenges including the effects of globalisation on the lives of workers.

For, the workers – both in the developing countries and in the developed countries – have become the leading victims of the unequal globalization process spearheaded by transnational corporations.
The last two decades saw a transnational-led globalization of economic processes based on a global race to the bottom. SASK has supported several activities like Campaigns, Workshops, Training programs of UNITES in India through a cooperation project. The project is aimed at capacity-building actions and thereby serving the interests of working IT & ITES professionals in India.

UNITES cooperates with SASK in areas of Research and Information-sharing. SASK works with UNI in supporting organistion to work together on issues of common interest at international platforms.
